Do I need an account to use the app?
No. Explore, its 487 roads and filters, and Break all work without one — choose "Continue without an account" on first launch. The Roadbook, Community and Convoy require an account: they are open for 30 days from the moment the account is created, then with the PASS ROADS Premium subscription.
How much does PASS ROADS cost?
When you create your account, the app gives you 30 days of free Premium access: no purchase, no card and no commitment. When the 30 days end nothing is charged — you then choose whether to subscribe. The download is free, and so are Explore, Break, drive recording, the Drive Card, the garage, levels and trophies, for everyone. PASS ROADS Premium adds the Roadbook, Community and Convoy, in a single plan: €59 / CHF 59 a year, about 4.92 a month. The subscription renews automatically every year. Manage or cancel it in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions; deleting your PASS ROADS account does not cancel the subscription.
Does the app work without a network?
The catalogue ships inside the app: browsing, filters and building a roadbook work offline. Maps, route calculations and restaurant searches, however, need a connection.
Recording stops when I lock my phone.
It should not: PASS ROADS keeps recording with the screen off, and iOS shows a blue indicator at the top of the screen while it does. If it does not, check Settings → PASS ROADS → Location that permission is granted, and that Low Power Mode is off — it throttles background updates.
A road is wrong, closed, or missing.
Write to us with the name of the pass and what is wrong. Altitudes, lengths and hairpin counts are indicative, and opening seasons can change without notice — always check before you set off.
How do I delete my data?
Profile → Settings → Delete my account erases the account and everything on the server: nickname, published road trips and synced drives. Profile → Settings → Reset local data clears this phone; uninstalling the app does too. Deleting the account does not cancel PASS ROADS Premium: cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Which languages does the app support?
French, English, Spanish, Italian and German. The language is chosen under Profile → Settings → Display language, independently of the phone's own.
The convoy shows nobody.
The other members must have joined the same code and allowed location sharing. Anyone can stay invisible: they then see the others without being seen.
Safety
PASS ROADS is a planning tool, not a driving aid. The app times nothing and rewards no pace. Build your route while stopped, obey the rules of the road, and do not handle your phone while driving.
